Honey-Sweetened 5-Ingredient Chocolate Chip Cookies

Infused with the rich, sweet honey, these chocolate chip cookies are the simplest and easiest recipe but they are positively gourmet.

Servings: 20 cookies

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup softened butter
  • cup honey
  • cup freshly milled flour (AP is fine if not)
  • ½ tsp baking soda room temperature
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ¾ teaspoon salt optional - for sprinkling on top

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the butter and honey together in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in the flour and baking soda until a dough forms.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized mounds onto a baking sheet.
  6. Bake 8–10 minutes, just until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Let cookies cool for about a minute then sprinkle lightly with flaky sea salt if desired. Allow cookies to cool completely on baking sheet before removing, then enjoy!
